Kerry Winchell acquired a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She has worked since 2006 providing an array of mental health services in the community, to include: individual and family therapy, group counseling, crisis stabilization, and assessments for inpatient and outpatient psychiatric/substance abuse care. She has worked with children, adults and the geriatric population. Kerry Winchell also worked for years in corrections, servicing individuals with mild, acute and chronic psychiatric presentations. She works and perceives the world from an Existential philosophical framework, believing that life is about finding meaning and living authentically. 

Kerry Winchell is the founder of Kerry Winchell, LPC. The practice provides services in the form of individual therapy and consulting services. Other services include life coaching, workshops and educational presentations/classes. Kerry Winchell, LPC employs an existential philosophical approach to help improve the quality of life of clients, while utilizing psycho-educational, cognitive and mindful techniques. Certified as a Natural Health and Holistic Practitioner, Kerry brings an integrative approach to her practice, and may incorporate alternative interventions that have been found to improve quality of life as an option to her clients. Kerry is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Georgia, New Jersey and Louisiana, and certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Kerry is also a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) in the state of Georgia. Her work areas with clients includes, but is not limited to addressing stress/anxiety, depression, life changes, wellness and self-care concerns.

In addition to being a LPC, Kerry is the creator and author of a catalog of self-help journal workbooks, published between 2020 and 2021.
